500 g Fresh Queensland Strawberries
1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
2 tbsp Sweetener of your choosing - try Maple Syrup or Raw Caster Sugar
1 Preheat oven to 200°C fan-forced.
2 Place the strawberries, sweetener, lemon and vinegar in a bowl, toss well to combine.
3 Place on cookie tray lined with baking paper, aligning in a single layer for even cooking.
4 Roast the strawberries for 10 minutes or until just releasing their juices.
5 Allow to cool then serve.

An ideal thing to make when Queensland Strawberries are in peak supply during August and September, these roasted berries are delicious with cheese, served with a big dollop of fresh greek yoghurt or even just with good old vanilla bean ice cream!
