”My mission is to just grow the business and keep farming. Chasing quality over quantity. It’s a balancing act chasing quality.
Lenny Smith
Lenny has been growing strawberries his whole life. He's farmed since he left school at 14 to join the family business.
Lenny loves nothing more than a 6hr day. Early start and finish. This is most productive, but it is challenging to achieve this. He's also got big plans for his farm in the future, including offering a streamline training service with videos in different languages as he believe the correct training is what makes people efficient.
Lenny also has three beautiful little fluffy dogs. 2 Pomeranian’s called Coco and Turbo, plus a Maltese called Shady.

Our season varies depending on the fruit.
We work 5-7 day and anywhere between 6 – 12hrs
We do have some accomodation on site but it is limited so we can introduce you to contractors who can assist with share housing in the area
We recommend having your own transport but working with contractors means we can organise lifts for anyone at a small cost
Lenny has changed his break room for the staff three times over the years to upgrade it and make it better for the staff
We have some second year plants and plugs so start of season will be earlier than other farms in the area, starting April – May and we usually go until October
