”We are all about freshly grown produce sold directly from our farm to our wonderful customers. When you buy strawberries from our shop they were picked yesterday - you simply can't get fresher than that!Dean Easdale & Tanya Husband
Tanya's grandparents started both the farm and the fruit & vegetable retail business and the 4th generation is now working in the fruit and vegetable store. Dean runs the farming operation and Tanya keeps the shop buzzing.
For us its all about freshness and great quality produce and you only get that when you have an awesome team working with you.
We absolutely pride ourselves on the quality of the product that we sell, whether that be our strawberries or any of the other 20 lines we grow - we sell direct so our customers give it to us straight if things aren't perfect!
Why Pick & Pack With Us?
What is it like to work with us?
Erbachers farm is a great place to work as they pay by the hour and I get paid every week. The supervisors and other farm workers are friendly.MiaBackpacker, London
I enjoyed my time working at Erbachers farm as I made new friends from different countries. I liked that they paid per hour rather than per kilo.SimoneBackpacker, Italy
I loved working at this farm as we start picking early in the morning and we got to go home most days around lunch time. Main job was strawberry picking however some days I got to then pick other produce.KatieCo founder, Coffee Inc
Monday to Friday 6:30am to our picking/jobs are done (at the latest 3:00pm)
Although we don’t have any accommodation on site, there are plenty of backpacker hostels in Maroochydore, Mooloolaba and Nambour
Working with us works best for those who have their own transport – although there are bus stops about a 5min walk away.
Erbacher’s is first and foremost a retail store, selling fresh fruit and vegetables as well as essentials (bread, milk, eggs, yoghurt, dried fruit, nuts, cold drinks, deli meats, plus much more).
We have our own coffee van/shop on-site serving real coffee from 6am – 2pm daily – who doesn’t love a caffeine fix first thing in the morning!
As a small multi-crop farm, we can offer you variety in the work you do – not just picking and packing strawberries.
Depending on where we are in our growing cycles, you might do other vegetables and packing or shop work depending on what needs to be done.
Strawberry season for us runs from the end of June to approx October.
We’re a small team that works together to get the work done and has fun doing it!
