”It’s incredible the appreciation we get from people, they come to visit our farm and see the hard work we put in.Michael & Debbie Meiers
Debbie and Michael have been growing strawberries on this farm since 2003. They also have a successful seedling nursery which Debbie has been running since 1988. Proud of the quality they produce, 75% of their fruit is sold face to face in Bundaberg.
A fantastic partnership, they like to keep themselves busy and always have a project on the go. Whether it's growing avocado and citrus trees, rhubarb and garlic or building a new packing shed. Never afraid of a chat, you’ll find Debbie at their farm stall in Bagara selling their fresh fruit and jams to the locals 6 days a week.
Also not shy of a challenge, Michael was impressively the 6th person in Australia to complete 10 Iron Man Triathlons. As well as having love for their new kittens, Milky, Splash and Whitey. Michael & Debbie have big hearts as they love teaching their 15 grandchildren about Australian strawberries too.
